Strategy Overview
Volume Profile maps how much volume traded at each price level rather than when it traded. This reveals where institutions have established positions, where strong support/resistance lies, and where price is likely to rotate. The 7-figure strategy uses this to trade high-probability rotations between key Volume Profile levels.
Market Focus
NASDAQ and S&P 500 futures where institutional volume creates clearly defined Volume Profile structures. Also applicable to individual large-cap stocks with sufficient volume history to produce meaningful profiles.
Timeframes
Daily and weekly sessions are analyzed to establish macro volume structure (POC, VAH, VAL). Intraday profiles on the 1-hour and 30-minute charts identify session-level trade locations for execution.
Core Idea
High Volume Nodes (HVN) act as support/resistance because large institutional positions were established there. Low Volume Nodes (LVN) are areas of fast travel — price moves through them quickly. Trading from HVN to HVN gives clear targets.
Market Conditions
Works in trending and ranging markets with different setups for each. In trends, trade pullbacks to HVN as continuation entries. In ranges, trade between VAH and VAL with POC as the magnet.
Strategy Setups
Setup 1: POC Magnet — when price is away from prior day’s POC, enter targeting a return to the POC. Setup 2: HVN Bounce — price pulls back to a major HVN, enter with stop below the node, target the next significant HVN above.
Trade Breakdown
Stop: 1 tick below the HVN or VAL level. Target: next HVN or POC. Adjust size based on the distance to stop. Risk 0.75% per trade. Scale out 60% at the first target, trail remaining position.
